Hey there to all of you.   I want all of you to pray for something that I consider very important and I think you consider it important as well.  I want you to pray for our preteen children who are seeking to raise their money to go to camp next week.  I learned yesterday afternoon that our fundraiser that we had planned at Sam’s got shut down by the City of Grapevine.  Sam’s wanted us to have an official permit from the city and the city wanted us to have a fire permit, police permit and a health permit. The lady at the city told Doug Smith, who has been doing the legwork in this project and dad of Rachel, that we did not have enough time to get the necessary permits and that she was not willing to help expedite the process.  We were really looking for this fundraiser to help out those who still need the necessary funds to go.  Keep them in prayer and pray that the necessary provisions will be provided for them to be able to go to camp.

I also want you to pray for those in our church family who are in need of jobs.  If you hear of a job opening or are looking for a job please let me know and we will get this information out.  Pray for those families that are in need of jobs.

During the times that we live it is important that we lift each other up in prayer and that we encourage one another with our actions and words.

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up" - 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)
